Eckardt Umformtechnik, manufacturer of lubrication systems, as well as cleaning and preservation systems, for industrial production is presenting a new linear brush system at Euroblech 2016. This model from the LBE product line is suitable for plate widths of up to 4,500 mm and uses a powerful Wandres brush unit. The system is primarily designed for the production of outer shell components in the automotive sector and can be installed into any pressing line. In addition, Eckardt will present a cross-section of products from its range of roller and spray lubri-cation systems.
The LBE brush system is characterized by the highest operational and process safety. A spe-cial transport clamping unit prevents the plates from slipping as they pass through the system. The “Wandres Inside” built-in brush unit is equipped with an electrical height adjustment unit as standard and is pretensioned via pneumatic pressure pads. The system is installed into a robust transport unit that is suitable for pressing work. The brush system can be integrated into new pressing lines as well as into an existing infrastructure (retrofit).
Together with a spray lubrication system from Eckardt, the system is particularly efficient and economical to operate. Optimally matched to each other, the two process components can be managed via a single control unit from the manufacturer, which is otherwise not found on the market in this form.
The new LBE brush system is a further development of the first generation of such systems from Eckardt. The integration and optimization of Wandres brush technology results in signifi-cantly improved cleaning results and offers a wide range of applications for automobile manu-facturers and suppliers in the production processes of car body outer shell components.
The system is now available at Eckardt. As in all product areas, the company offers a wide range of services in consulting, engineering, maintenance and servicing.
“It makes sense for us to expand our core business of lubrication in the direction of material cleaning and to optimally combine both areas since they are naturally closely allied with each other. In this way, we can ensure a high degree of process integration for our customers, for example, in the form of overlapping control systems, and represent individual process re-quirements from a single source – from infrastructure planning to downstream maintenance and servicing,” says Daniel Assmann, sales manager at Eckardt Umformtechnik.
Lubrication and more
Besides the new brush system, Eckardt will present a comprehensive cross-section of its range of lubrication systems at Euroblech. Felt roller lubricators with roller widths between 32 and 110 cm will be seen, as well as spray systems of the EOS series, which are also available in different sizes and designs. Trade fair visitors can get first-hand information on current trends and developments in this segment of industrial forming, with a focus on process reliabil-ity, minimum downtimes and maintenance-friendly design procedures.
With its appearance at Euroblech, Eckardt is addressing a wide range of target groups: manu-facturers/suppliers from the automotive field, pressing plant operators and stamping companies of every size are also addressed, as well as logistics companies, for which Eckardt is po-sitioned as a partner in the field of material preservation.
