Based in Vaihingen/Enz, Germany, Kölle GmbH, toolmaker and manufacturer of stamped parts, produces stamped, drawn and bent component parts in series production for the automotive sector in amounts ranging from 500 up to 2 million parts per year. To do so it makes use of 10 stamping machines and 18 manually loaded press machines.
As far as lubricating the formed components is concerned, customer demands with regard to further processing are becoming increasingly more complex. At the same time ever greater flexibility is required when it comes to changing materials and oils.
Against this background Kölle decided to change from roller lubrication to spray lubrication – and placed its faith in the technology offered by Eckardt.
